Corona clause:
* If the government requires us to close our physical location, scheduled classes will continue online.
* If the student has to be quarantined, he/she may attend the scheduled class online.
* If the teacher has to be quarantined, the scheduled lesson will be conducted online.
1. Enrolment and payment Dutch courses:
1.1. By filling in the registration form, you are committed to payment of the full course fee. The course fee must be paid before the start of the course. If the course is full and you still haven’t paid, there is nothing we can do to get you in the course, only full payment ensures your participation. Payment in 2 or 3 terms might be possible in consultation with the administration.

All costs related to international bank transfers are at the expense of the student and their own bank.
If you prefer to pay in cash or by pin (Den Haag), please contact us via info@abcdutch.com/rotterdam@abcdutch.com for an appointment to make the payment and complete your booking at the school. If your card is not Maestro or a non-Dutch card, a transaction fee will be charged (e.g. with credit cards and international bank cards).
1.2. Study books: ABC Dutch offers you the service of purchasing your study book through the school - you will then receive the book from your teacher on the first day of class. If you prefer to have the study book earlier, you can purchase it separately in any bookstore or online (e.g. www.bol.com). It’s not possible to come to the school to pick up your book before the start of your course. Books can only be purchased as part of a course registration. Book fees cannot be refunded.
2. Cancellation and refunds:
2.1. ABC Dutch reserves the right to make any changes to dates, times, prices and course content that may be necessary. ABC Dutch also reserves itself the right to cancel a course if the minimum amount of participants is not reached - if this occurs a full refund will be issued.
2.2. After registration, you can cancel your course within 7 days by writing an email to info@abcdutch.com. An administration fee of €20,- shall be charged.
2.3. Five work days prior to the start of a course, or once a course has started, cancellation or reimbursement of the course fee is no longer possible.
2.4. In case you wish to cancel more than five days prior to the start of the course, you will need to send us an email (info@abcdutch.com/rotterdam@abcdutch.com) and explain your reasons. We will then try to find a solution for you (e.g. changing to a different course) but we can’t give you any guarantees and the financial obligation will still be valid.
2.5. Absence: ABC Dutch has no obligation to compensate for missed lessons.
2.6. It's not possible to switch between locations after a course has been booked.
2.7. ABC Dutch reserves the right where necessary to change the course teacher or the location of the course. This will not give rise to any kind of compensation or refund of the course fee.
2.8. If a lesson has to be canceled during the course period due to unforeseen circumstances, a make up lesson will be planned in consultation with the teacher and the students. Postponement of lessons shall not give rise to a right to a refund.
3. Private Lessons:
3.1. Private lesson fees need to be paid for before the start of the first lesson. The minimum amount of lessons that can be booked is 5. Less hours might be possible In consultation with the administration.

Cancellation of the student:
If the student needs to cancel a lesson due to sickness or other unforeseen circumstances and cancellation takes place more than 24 hours before the start of the lesson, the teacher will do his/her best to reschedule the lesson, but is not obliged to. A lesson that’s been cancelled within 24 hours before the start of the lesson will be regarded as a missed lesson.
Cancellation of the teacher:
If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson due to sickness or other unforeseen emergencies, the teacher will do his/her best to reschedule the lesson. If this proves impossible, the student is entitled to a refund of the missed lesson.
3.3. In the event that private lessons have been taken without payment in advance, the student is held responsible and he or she is obliged to pay in full for the lessons that have taken place.
4. Fotography:
At the end, or during a course, we can take group photos which can be used for promotional purposes. Any student who objects to this, should state this at the time of the actual photo shoot, or can send an email to: info@abcdutch.com.
5. Liability
ABC Dutch shall not be liable for injury to persons and/or damage to property, nor for the loss of personal possessions occurring at ABC Dutch premises and/or occurring during any activities organised by ABC Dutch.
6. Complaint procedure
Satisfying and keeping our students happy is our top priority. In the unlikely event that there is a complaint, we will do our utmost to find a solution that is acceptable to all parties. Complaints can be emailed to us: info@abcdutch.com. You will receive a response within 3 working days.
